The Maritime & Seafood Industry Museum will stage the Billy Creel Memorial Gulf Coast Wooden Boat Show this weekend, with nearly four dozen historic, antique, classic and contemporary wooden boats on display at the Schooner Pier Complex in east Biloxi.

The show opens Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $5, adults; $3, age 13-18; children under 12, free.

Sails aboard a 68-foot, two-masted Biloxi Schooner, the “Mike Sekul,” will run on Saturday and Sunday at noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. at a special rate of $10 per person; children under 5 will be free.

About 45 boats are registered for the show. The watercraft range in size, from 6 feet to 76 feet; and in age, from a 1912 vessel through present-day construction.
