“Katrina & Biloxi” — The award-winning photo album and DVD was created shortly after the storm struck and became an instant keepsake. The 54-page photo album and 50-minute DVD tell the story of Biloxi and its stricken people using a before-and-after photos, a series of interview vignettes, storm footage, Jim Cantore of The Weather Channel, the original song “Heavens Cry (I Saw Heaven Cry Today),” plus plenty of bonus features, including an interview with Mayor A.J. Holloway at City Hall as the storm subsided outside. Thousands sold at $25.
“Katrina +10” — Produced 10 years after Katrina, this photo album and DVD takes stock of the recovery, including stories from the mayors of Biloxi, Gulfport, Bay St. Louis, Waveland, Pass Christian, Long Beach, D’Iberville and Ocean Springs. It’s a 42-page tour of rebuilding, with special sections on the casinos, Keesler and the volunteers who assisted in our recovery. You’ll hear from the leaders on the challenges of the rebuilding. There’s also bonus footage: Mayor A.J. Holloway explaining the storm and rebuilding to a national audience, old Biloxi photos and the story of the Croatian-American Society on Point Cadet in Biloxi.
