The swimming pool at the Donal Snyder Sr. Community Center will close at 6 p.m. on February 18, 19, and 20 to allow the Biloxi Elite Swim Team to practice.
The swim team, which usually practices weekdays at the Biloxi Natatorium, is preparing for the Short Course State Championship meet held in Laurel on February 22 through 24. Due to the Natatorium’s renovations, the swim team will get its much needed swim time on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at the Donal Snyder Center, located at 2520 Pass Road. The Center will remain open to the public during this time with the exception of the swimming pool. Normal pool hours will resume on Thursday, February 21.
The Biloxi Elite Swim Team is a year round, competitive USA Swimming program that is sponsored by the City of Biloxi Parks and Recreation Department.
