Minimum Design Criteria

The minimum design criteria apply to water/sewer/drainage/roadway construction utility projects within the City of Biloxi.  It is the intent of the City of Biloxi Engineering Department to provide clear direction on the City’s minimum standards and expectations for plans and specifications.  These criteria apply to any city utility construction within the city right-of-way, any city-funded project, and subdivision utility projects that will be dedicated to the city.  This is not intended to encompass every aspect of every design.

Design Standards and Construction Specifications

These specifications and details are required to be used in all water/sewer/drainage/roadway construction utility projects within the City of Biloxi.  They are required for any utility work within the city right-of-way, any city-funded project, and subdivision utility projects that will be dedicated to the city. Any deviation from these specifications or details must be approved by the City Engineer on a case-by-case basis.
