Police seek toys for Santa Wears a Badge program

The Biloxi Police Department is accepting toys and names of the needy for its Santa Wears a Bade program, which helps less-fortunate children in the community.

Donation boxes – where residents can drop off new, unwrapped toys – are at the Lopez-Quave Public Safety Center on Porter Avenue; Dane’s Barber Shop and Worldwide Insurance, both outside Keesler Gate 7 on Pass Road; Majestic Oaks RV Park, Pass Road; BP stations on Pass Road and Popp’s Ferry Road; Josette’s, Howard Avenue; and at the public safety communications center or garage on Popp’s Ferry Road.

Those with needy children – up to 12 years of age, living in Biloxi and no registered with any other agency – can register with the Biloxi Police Department’s Community Relations Division at (228) 435-6133.
