City to host Black History Month program

The City of Biloxi Parks and Recreation Department holds its annual Black History Month Program on Thursday, Feb. 25 at 6 p.m. The program will be at the Biloxi Community Center which is at 591 Howard Ave.

The public is invited to view an evening of diverse festivities through the celebration of the history and contributions of African Americans to the American life. This free event will include the St. Paul’s Gospel Choir, the Boys and Girls Club Drumline, speakers from the Vietnamese and Hispanic communities, dance groups, food and fellowship.

The Black History Month Program is a City of Biloxi event and is co-sponsored by the Beau Rivage.
