The City of Biloxi Aquatic Division will hold its summer swimming lessons registration for Biloxi residents, on Saturday, May 1 from 8 a.m. to noon and for non-Biloxi residents on Saturday, May 8 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Biloxi Natatorium, 1384 Father Ryan Avenue.
Classes will begin Monday, June 7 with different sessions held throughout the summer. All classes will end on Thursday, July 29.
The summer session will consist of four types of classes for different ages:
IPAP –beginner classes for children 6 months of age to 4 years old. An adult must accompany each child in the water during this class.
Level I & II – beginner classes for children ages 4 and up
Level III & IV – intermediate classes for children
Adult classes – for adults of all ages
Late registration will begin for Biloxi residents on Monday, May 3 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and for non-Biloxi residents on Monday, May 10 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Biloxi Natatorium, and will continue weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. throughout the summer until all classes are full.
The cost for the two week session is $30 for each Biloxi resident and $50 for each non-Biloxi resident. Registration must be done in person.
All classes are taught by certificated American Red Cross instructors.
In addition, Biloxi Red Tide Swim Team registration will be held at the Biloxi Natatorium on Saturday, May 1 from 8 a.m. to noon. Red Tide is free for Biloxi residents and $50 for non-Biloxi residents. Registration will continue weekdays at the Biloxi Natatorium throughout the summer. Practice starts Monday, May 24 with morning practice from 9:30 to 11 a.m. and evening practice from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
