March: St. Paddy’s, Grillin’ and a whole bunch more

The Mardi Gras beads and trinkets have barely been put away, if at all, and it’s time for another parade – with a cookout, to boot.

You’ll get a preview of the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Grillin’ on the Green, which take place March 14, in the March issue of BNews Monthly, which will be arriving in homes and businesses across this city Friday and Saturday.

Also included in the 24-page March issue: a preview about a banquet and statue in the works to honor Apollo 13 astronaut and Biloxi native Fred Haise; updates on the pending Census count and the issue of short-term rentals in Biloxi; information on Mississippi State games and Shuckers season coming up at MGM Park; and your chance to meet Marcus Boudreaux, the new superintendent of Biloxi Public Schools.

The issue also includes detailed status reports on the city’s three infrastructure work areas, the Nick L. Shrimp, Back in the Day and Keesler columns, the monthly calendar of events, and the March lineup for BTV: Biloxi Television.

BNews Monthly for March is supported by a host of civic-minded advertisers:  Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort, Merit Health Medical Group, Biloxi Shuckers, Mississippi Power, Palace Casino Resort, Edgewater Mall, Biloxi Public Schools and Treasure Bay Casino and Hotel.
