West Biloxi Library closed for roof repairs

The West Biloxi Library is closed throughout February while city contractors are installing a new roof on the Pass Road facility.

The city had made temporary repairs to the roof after Hurricane Katrina, and the new replacement roof is being funded by a grant from the Bush-Clinton Katrina Fund through the Libraries for the Future Foundation. Cost of the new roof is $170,000.

The West Biloxi Library closed on Feb. 2

Those who frequented the West Biloxi Library are encouraged to use the Margaret Sherry Memorial Library on Popp’s Ferry Road, or the downtown temporary library on Howard Avenue. Books and materials that had been checked out from the West Biloxi Library may be returned to those or any other public library.
