You’ll find bugs galore at Edgewater Mall on Saturday — VW bugs and more — for the 15th annual VW Car Show. More than 90 VWs from six states are expected to attend the free show.

Among the other events taking place this weekend: There’s a coin show at the Quality Inn on West Beach, “Lend Me a Tenor” at Center Stage, “Hairspray” at the Beau Rivage, KC & The Sunshine Band at the Hard Rock, and Lee Ann Womack at the IP.

Council preview: Two zoning issues, changes to the city’s employee benefits package, and funding for several ongoing city projects and initiatives — the last phase of widening on Popp’s Ferry Road, purchase of city property insurance, and work at the Biloxi Small Craft Harbor — are among the items on the agenda for the City Council next week.
