The City of Biloxi Tree Committee is seeking representatives for Wards 6 and 7, as Representatives Bernie Marinovich and Brian Lamar are stepping down.
Tree Committee members say the ideal candidate understands Biloxi’s need to balance tree conservation with development.
Requirements include attendance at regular monthly meetings either in person or telephonically, participation in site visits, attendance at some regular public meetings depending on member’s schedule, working cooperatively with Community Development staff and administration, and attention to matters discussed over email or text.
