Today’s report: Curfew begins at 11 tonight

Mayor Andrew “FoFo” Gilich has announced Biloxi will implement a curfew from 11 tonight until 6 Saturday morning, relaxing the 8 p.m. curfew since more businesses are re-opening as more power is being restored across the city.

In fact, Mississippi Power announced this afternoon that power restoration efforts will continue through the weekend, and 95 percent of its customers would have power restored by Monday.

The curfew, garbage and debris updates, and a host of other information are included in today’s Be Prepared report, which ends with a collection of video clips from Hurricane Zeta, before, during and after.

The report also includes the latest on the coronavirus: 749 new cases of the coronavirus statewide and 29 new cases in Harrison County. Forty people are hospitalized with the virus on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
