The latest on the Isaac aftermath

— Motorists are traveling U.S. 90 in Biloxi. The Biloxi Bay Bridge and all bridges in Biloxi are open.

— A number of traffic signals are damaged at intersections throughout the city. Motorists should stop at flashing red lights, and should use caution when approaching flashing yellow lights. Intersections where traffic signals have been downed should be treated as four-way stops.

— The Mississippi Gaming Commission says some casino resorts could open as early as this evening. Commission’s goal is to have all open by noon Friday.

— All city employees are expected to be at work Friday at usual time.

—The city’s Storm Info line at 435-6300 is down. Workers are laboring to repair it.

— Coast Transit reports that fixed route service – with an irregular time schedule – resumed this afternoon on Route 31 in Biloxi, Route 34 on Pass Road in Biloxi and Gulfport, Route 4 in D’Iberville, Route 7 in Ocean Springs, Route 37 on Highway 49 in Gulfport, and Route 38 in West Gulfport. CTA also reports that its Biloxi and Gulfport transit centers are open to handle route transfers.
