Council meetings to be postponed

Biloxi City Council President Lucy Denton says that the two City Council meetings planned for Thursday — a morning budget meeting and an afternoon session — will be postponed, possibly to Friday.

Denton said a decision on the new date and time would be made Thursday.

The council meetings had originally been scheduled for Tuesday but were moved to Thursday because of the threat from Tropical Storm Isaac.
