Summer camp registration begins Monday

Summer camp registration for one of Biloxi’s most anticipated youth programs kicks off Monday, allowing families to secure a spot in the city’s popular Summer Playground and Enrichment Program.

Registration will be held Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Parks & Recreation Office, 377 Hiller Drive. The initial registration period is open to Biloxi residents as well as campers who participated in the 2025 summer camp season.

If spaces remain after the initial sign-up period, registration will expand to all Biloxi residents beginning Monday, April 27. Those registrations will also take place weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Parks & Recreation Office.

A final opportunity to register will be offered on Saturday, May 2, from 8 to 11 a.m. at the Woolmarket City Center, 13034 Kayleigh Cove. This final session will be open to both residents and non-residents, provided spots are still available.

This year’s camp will run from June 1 through July 17, operating weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., providing full-day supervision and activities for participating children. A change to this year’s program includes a single camp location at North Woolmarket Elementary Gym. Program fees include a $100 nonrefundable registration fee per child and a weekly fee of $90 per child.

Registration fees are due at the time of sign-up. In addition, the Mississippi State Health Department requires several documents to complete registration, including proof of residency, the child’s social security number, two emergency contact numbers, a list of authorized pick-up individuals, as well as health insurance and medical information.

Families are encouraged to register early, as space is limited and the program typically fills quickly each year.
