Summer Playground

The Summer Playground program is a six-week program that begins one week after Biloxi Public Schools let out for the summer. The program ends one week before children begin the new school year.

Sites this year are North Bay, North Woolmarket, and Popp’s Ferry elementary schools. The schools are upon approval.
Children have the opportunity to attend field trips along the Gulf Coast, participate in arts & crafts, and organized games. Field trips and sites are limited to no more than 75 campers per site.

This program is open to all children ages 5 – 12. Spots are limited! 

Registration locations, times

Woolmarket school camp site: Saturday, April 13, 2024
9 a.m. to noon, Woolmarket Elementary gym, 12513 John Lee Road
Biloxi school camp sites: Saturday, April 20, 2024
9 a.m. to noon, Donal M. Snyder Sr. Community Center, 2520 Pass Road
Late registration:  Through May 10, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Hiller Park Office, 377 Hiller Drive

Camp begins: June 3, 2024
Camp ends: July 12, 2024, for Biloxi Upper Elementary and Michele Gym
July 19, 2024, for North Woolmarket School


Camp will be held Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to  5:30 p.m.

Program fees

Biloxi resident: $20 registration fee
$50 weekly fee for first child, $25 for each additional child
$60 field trip fee per child (one-time fee)
Non-Biloxi residents: $25 registration fee
$60 weekly fee for first child, $30 for each additional child
$60 field trip fee per child (one-time fee)

**Biloxi residents are those who vote at Biloxi precincts and pay City of Biloxi yearly property taxes. (Click here for voting info.)

Mandatory at registration

  1. Proof of residency
  2. Social security number of each camper
  3. Two emergency contact numbers
  4. List of those who can pick child/children up
  5. Health insurance policy number
  6. Health information on child/children
