The Summer Playground program is an eight to six-week program which begins one week after Biloxi Public Schools let out for the summer. The program ends one week before children begin the new school year.
Sites this year are North Bay, North Woolmarket, and Popp’s Ferry elementary schools. The schools are upon approval.
Children have the opportunity to attend field trips along the Gulf Coast, participate in arts & crafts, and organized games. Because of the coronavirus pandemic, field trips will be limited and sites will be limited to no more than 75 campers per site.
This program is open to all children ages 5 – 12.
There will be no teen camp, for ages 12 – 14, and no Sun Camp, for children with physical and mental disabilities, this year.
