Shelter moves to Snyder Center for ‘coldest night of season’

Emergency managers say tonight may be the coldest night of the season, with freezing temperatures expected from 10 to 14 hours overnight, prompting a hard freeze warning from the National Weather Service.

In Biloxi, a cold weather shelter is available at the Donal M .Snyder Community Center on Pass Road. It opened at 5 p.m. and will remain open until 8 a.m. Tuesday. The shelter at the Church of the Redeemer on Water Street will not be open.
