Renaissance Garden enthusiasts to meet Monday

The Mississippi Renaissance Garden Foundation will hold the first Action Committees Planning Session to develop strategic plans for the development of a Renaissance Garden and Horticultural Center in Biloxi’s Hiller Park.

The session will be Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Donal Snyder Community Center, 2520 Pass Road.

Ward 4 Councilman-elect Clark Griffith will also speak to the group about the importance of the Mississippi Renaissance Garden Foundation’s “Horticulture for Humanity “efforts to restore the environmental beauty, the quality of life, family attractions and tourism on the MS Gulf Coast. Also attending will be Frank Genzer, the Biloxi architect who designed the horticultural center planned for Hiller Park.

All coastal residents who previously signed up for committees are asked to attend; the session is also open to the general public.

The MRG Foundation also invites all interested coastal businesses, organizations, schools, churches and neighborhoods to send representatives to participate and share valuable ideas.
