Preservation celebration wraps up this evening

Thursdays in May, the month-long celebration of preservation wraps up this evening with an awards ceremony at Biloxi City Hall and the formal dedication of the Bond-Grant House on Howard Avenue. Both events are free and open to the public.

The awards ceremony, which begins at 5:30 at City Hall, will recognize individuals, businesses and groups who have helped foster preservation in Biloxi. After the City Hall ceremony, Mayor A.J. Holloway and representatives of the Biloxi Main Street organization will cut a ribbon at the Howard Avenue site of the Bond-Grant House to formally dedicate the restored structure.
