A lane of Popp’s Ferry Road will be closed for as much as two hours this morning as Biloxi Public Works crews repair a section of the roadway near Lamey Street, near the city limits with D’Iberville.
The city will position flagmen to help direct traffic during the work, which will take place on the northern lane of Popp’s Ferry.
Jim Byrd Road work coming up: Beginning Monday, Jan. 11, the city also will be closing Jim Byrd Road in the Woolmarket community in order to install water, sewer and drainage line crossovers. Motorists are advised to use a Lorraine Road detour during the work, which is expected to be completed within 30 days.
