Point Cadet floating docks are open for business

The Biloxi Port Division is now accepting leases for the new floating docks at the Point Cadet Marina.

The floating docks officially opened in June with the Billfish Tournament anglers as its first tenants. Now, the division is seeking tenants for the slips.

“The new floating docks are excellent for boaters,” said Port Manager Christina Johnson. “They rise and fall with the fluctuating tides, making it easier for boaters to board their vessels safely.”

There are more than two dozen floating dock slips available. The slips range in size from 40 feet to 70 feet and include electricity, 15 in-slip pump-out stations, an on-site fuel dock and tackle shop, a laundry facility, a harbor master on duty 24 hours a day, and showers and restrooms.

Leases are available for a 90-day minimum followed by a month-to-month lease.

The Point Cadet Marina is the largest marina in Biloxi and is located on the east point of the city.
