Advanced Disposal, the firm that on Oct. 1 will be responsible for residential garbage and trash collection, today began replacing residential trash carts throughout Harrison County.
Collection and recycling pickup days will not change under the new contract. The only action that residential customers are asked to take at this point is once their new carts are delivered, remove their new 18-gallon recycling bin from inside the cart.
You can read more about the new service in an advertisement that was published in the Sun Herald on Sunday by clicking here.
Advanced Disposal also has an informational flier that will be attached to all residential carts. To read the flier, click here.
Allied Waste, the Harrison County Utility Authority’s current contractor for residential trash collection, will continue providing services through the end of September.
