Mayor A.J. Holloway underwent successful surgery this morning and is expected to remain hospitalized as long as a week before returning home.
Dr. Frank Martin said the operation — which was a follow up to a Jan. 31 operation to mend the mayor’s perforated colon — went well.
The mayor’s hospital visitors, however, will be limited to family.
