Biloxi’s Parks and Recreation is in full gear this time of year, and Saturday is a good indication of just how busy things are: There’s an Easter egg hunt again this weekend, registration kicks off in Woolmarket for the summer camp program, and baseball and softball are continuing at the A.J. Holloway Sports Complex.
You can hear all about these events and a few others in the works from Sherry Bell, the city’s authority on Parks and Recreation staffer, in this week’s City Desk webcast. This week’s 13-minute program focuses on Parks & Recreation.

It’s too early to say how big spring break will be, but rest assured, the weather will be cooperative and inviting.
In addition to the Coliseum’s lineup of Black Beach Weekend events this weekend, you’ll also find Alan Jackson at the Beau Rivage, Styx at the Hard Rock, and 7 Bridges, the Eagles tribute group, at Margaritaville.
