Drawdown at the Seafood Museum this weekend

The public is invite to enjoy an evening of festivities at the Maritime & Seafood Industry Museum Saturday for the 34th Annual $10,000 Drawdown.

The affair will take place at the museum, 115 First Street, with cocktails and entertainment beginning at 6 p.m. A host of tasty seafood dishes, buffet style, will be available beginning at 7 p.m. and the drawing will begin at 8 p.m. 

Door prizes will be awarded throughout the night and a silent auction and open bar will also be part of the event.

A total of 500 tickets, for $100 each and admitting two to the drawdown, are being sold along the Coast by members of the museum, and at the Maritime & Seafood Industry Museum.

News & notes: Movie night, council

Movie night: Dozens of people showed up for the interactive movie night at the Biloxi Visitors Center Thursday night to watch the city-acquired documentary, A Social Change in a Democracy, that was filmed in Biloxi in 1951. To see images from the event, click here.
