Council meetings: Watch online only

The City is Biloxi has announced that attendance at meetings of the City Council will be conducted with limited attendance.

City Council meetings, which have traditionally been posted online within an hour after their conclusion, will now also be streamed live online, with replays on BTV at 9 a.m., 9 p.m. and 3 p.m.

“In this state of emergency, the city is making every effort to keep the public informed of public policy,” Mayor Andrew “FoFo” Gilich said. “We do realize we are conducting public business, but access to meetings must be limited to the mayor, councilmembers, directors, clerks as needed, and a Public Affairs representative.

“This limited access is done in the interest of preservation of public health, safety and to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.”
