City limits traffic to public buildings

All non-emergency City of Biloxi facilities are essentially closed to walk-in traffic, but city business is being conducted by phone or email.

City staff remains working in respective departments, but access to buildings is limited. The Lopez-Quave Public Safety Center and other public safety centers remains open for emergency issues.

“These are extraordinary steps, but this must be done for the protection of the public and our employees,” Mayor Andrew “FoFo” Gilich said. “However, we can continue the work of government by phone, email or online. Many of the forms that are needed, and agendas and supporting documents are all online, so the public has access. We are here, and we are doing the job.”
