The City of Biloxi is encouraging businesses and residents to take part in the Great American Clean-up, which takes place April 20-25, which includes the observance of Earth Day on April 22.
Individuals, businesses, and groups are asked to volunteer to clean selected areas or neighborhoods specifically on Saturday, April 25. Trash bags and gloves will be provided. Supplies can be picked up from the Bond Grant House 932 Howard Ave. weekdays, or that Saturday morning at the Town Green.
A pre-clean-up brown bag lunch is also scheduled for Friday, April 24 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
