You made it! It’s First Friday

The March edition of First Friday, the monthly downtown affair, kicks off at 5 today in the Biloxi Downtown Arts District.

The event, which takes place along Rue Magnolia, and Water and George E. Ohr streets, will feature discounts from downtown merchants, who expand hours for the event. You’ll also find trivia hosted by Biloxi Main Street, a Gallery 782 anniversary celebration, and live music by Thomas Jackson beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Other activities include a sneak peek of the soon-to-open business Marley’s Music, a Wes Anderson-themed art show at Greenhouse Biloxi, Lent-friendly snacks by Makin’ Groceries, and cold beer for sale at The Threaded Cork.

Elsewhere this weekend: Coastcon and the Jason Aldean “We Back” Tour each take place at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum and Convention Center, and the Annual Gulf Coast Winter Classic Horse Show will be at the Harrison County Fairgrounds. At the casino resorts, Gladys Knight performs at the Beau Rivage, the Dokken & Lynch Reunion takes place at the Hard Rock, and Ruben Studdard and Chrisette Michele each entertain at the IP.
