A number of special events have been announced surrounding the 80th annual Blessing of the Fleet and Shrimp Festival, which takes place Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7.

— Unveiling of Blessing of the Fleet Poster Wednesday May 13, 5 p.m., Bond-Grant House, Howard Avenue.
— Past royalty reception, Friday, June 5, Maritime and Seafood Industry Museum pier.
— Biloxi Schooner Race, Saturday, June 6, 10 a.m., in channel between Biloxi Small Craft Harbor and Isle of Capri.
— Mass of the Blessing, Saturday, June 6, 4 p.m., St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Point Cadet.
— Fais Do-Do and Coronation of the Shrimp King and Queen – Saturday, June 6, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Biloxi Town Green
Blessing of the Fleet – Sunday, June 7, 2 p.m., in channel east of Biloxi Small Craft Harbor.
