Many New Orleanians remember the days when a trip to Biloxi was a very big deal, and you’ll get a chance to see just how big of a deal it was when WYES-TV airs an encore of “Gulf Coast Memories” Sunday (March 17) at 7 p.m.
The program, which originally aired Wednesday, was written, produced and directed by Stephen Tyler, who was responsible for the recent WYES special “Lost Restaurants of New Orleans.” WYES airs on Cable One on Channel 12 in Biloxi.
The show will feature Coast residents and New Orleanians who made Biloxi and the Gulf Coast their second home.
“This program should resurrect many fond memories for Biloxians,” Mayor A.J. Holloway said. “We had some great days in our past, but our future is just as bright.”
