Mayor Andrew “FoFo” Gilich has announced the City of Biloxi will be under a curfew from 8 tonight until 6 in the morning.
“We’re asking people to please stay off the roads unless you’re going to work or have a legitimate reason to be out,” Biloxi Police Chief John Miller said. “We have a significant amount of downed tree limbs, power lines, power poles and other debris. It’s dangerous enough and many street lights and traffic signals are out, so it makes it that much worse at night.”
Police will be able to stop and question those on the roadway during the curfew.
