News & notes: McKeithen Memorial blood drive, summer camp
McKeithen blood drive: The 6th Annual Officer Robert McKeithen Memorial Blood Drive is set to take place on Thursday, May 1, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Biloxi Visitors Center. For details and to schedule an appointment, click here.
Summer Camp: A limited number of spots are still available for the City of Biloxi’s summer camp program. To see which sites have openings and the fees, click here.
Snyder gym to close: The gymnasium at the Donal Snyder Sr. Community Center, 2520 Pass Road, will temporarily close to the public on May 5, 6, & 7 while contractors clean, buff, and wax the floors. All other amenities at the center remain open, normal hours. Click here to see more.
Splash pads: The splash pads at Margaret Sherry Library and John Henry Beck Park have reopened to the public. They are open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and are maintained by the Biloxi Parks & Recreation Department. The splash pads at Hiller Park and Point Cadet are still closed for maintenance.
