News & notes: Weekly report, Connector work, closures

East Biloxi Connector Road work: Beginning Monday, Feb. 26, contractors will begin the demolition of two houses on Querens to make way for the East Biloxi Connector Road from Porter to Querens, north of the railroad tracks. The connector road will allow motorists to travel the area when future railroad crossing closures occur.

Reynoir, Fayard streets to close: From March 5 to 26, Reynoir and Fayard streets will be closed for the 2024 Manufactured Housing Exhibit taking place in the IP Casino parking lot. Alternate routes will be available for those living and traveling the area.  As for the exhibit, nearly 50 homes will be featured and open only to exhibit attendees.
