Biloxi A to Z: Popp’s Ferry Causeway pier, and more

Biloxi A to Z: This week’s video features the Popp’s Ferry Causeway loop pier. The pier was damaged in 2020 by Tropical Storm Cristobal and Hurricane Zeta.  Earlier this week, the secretary of state’s office announced $500,000 in tidelands funds for the demolition and repair of the pier.

The video also includes a brief look at the annual American Public Works Association Conference that was hosted in Biloxi this week, images from the award ceremony honoring Biloxi Firefighter II Treyvis Bush as the Keesler Federal Credit Union’s First Responder of the Year, a reminder to use the zipper merge when traveling southbound on I-110, the weekend preview, and a list of events taking place in Biloxi this weekend.
