Coaches needed: The Biloxi Parks & Recreation Department is looking for individuals to coach the 5 & 6 and 7 & 8-year-old little league flag football teams. Those interested are asked to contact Biloxi Athletic Specialist Ronnie Seymour at rseymour@biloxi.ms.us or call 228-388-7170.

Voting: City facility voting sites in Biloxi are open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for the Aug. 29 runoff elections. They are the Dr. Frank Gruich Sr. Community Center, 591 Howard Ave.; West Biloxi Library, 2047 Pass Road; and the Lopez-Quave Public Safety Center, 170 Porter Ave.  For other locations in Biloxi and Harrison County, contact the Harrison County Circuit Clerk at 228-865-4051.

Council: The Biloxi City Council has called for a special meeting to take place on Tuesday, Aug. 29 at 1:30 p.m. at Biloxi City Hall, 140 Lameuse St. The topic of discussion will be the city’s fiscal year 2023-2024 budget. To visit the city council webpage, click here.
