Ole Miss leads off MGM baseball lineup

MGM Park ushers in another big week of baseball this evening with a college game between Ole Miss and Nichols State, followed by a slate of other college and high school games into the weekend.

First pitch will be tossed out at 7 this evening.

Then, on Friday, its a college doubleheader, with Loyola and Tougaloo at 4 p.m., followed by Jackson State and Alcorn at 7:05 p.m.

On Saturday, four high school games are on tap at the park: Biloxi vs. Warren Central at 10 a.m., Gulfport vs. Madison Central at 1 p.m., Ocean Springs vs. New Hope at 4 p.m., and D’Iberville vs. Pascagoula at 7:05 p.m.

Breakfast with the Mayor: Mayor Andrew “FoFo” Gilich will speak to the issues of the day during the Biloxi Chamber’s “Breakfast with the Mayor,” Wednesday at 8 a.m. at IP Casino Resort & Spa.

Lunch with the Mayor: The Harrison County Republican Club will hear from the mayor of Biloxi during a Wednesday lunchtime presentation beginning at noon at the Great Southern Club.
