The changing seasons: Biloxi Public Works crews were out today signaling the approach of the Carnival season with new banners being hung on poles throughout the downtown area. To see photos of the men at work, click here.

Down at the Point: Bill Raymond, the ubiquitous manager of the Biloxi Visitors Center and overseer of city-owned historic sites, reports that excitement is on the way for two Point Cadet sites: the Biloxi Waterfront Park is aiming for a public dedication in March, and the Maritime and Seafood Industry Museum has a goal of opening its doors in time for June’s Blessing of the Fleet.
