The Biloxi Visitors Center is looking for vendors to participate in its 8th annual Biloxi Lighthouse Arts & Crafts Fair set to take place on May 3.
The event, set at the Biloxi Visitors Center, will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the first Saturday of the month and includes free admission. The fair attracts hundreds of visitors, which creates a great opportunity for vendors to exhibit and sell their goods.
“We have space for more than 100 vendors,” said Hospitality Manager Onnie Gazzo. “The fair showcases our local talent while offering visitors a chance to visit the center and the lighthouse.”
Arts and craft vendors will be provided booth space inside the facility and outside on the lawn for a $50 booth fee. Food trucks will be allowed to set up outside for a $100 booth fee, but space is limited. All spots need to be reserved and fees paid before 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 1.
In addition to supporting local artists, visitors will have the chance to tour the Biloxi Lighthouse during one of the free tours offered every 30 minutes throughout the event. There will also be Mother’s Day crafts for children.
Added Gazzo: “We call it the lighthouse festival because we are proud of our Biloxi heritage and want to showcase what our community has to offer as well as show off the city’s most beloved landmark, the Biloxi Lighthouse.”
