You can get a first-hand report on the damage and restoration efforts at the Biloxi Public Library in downtown Biloxi through a video clip now posted on the city web site. Biloxi librarian Charlene Longino narrates the video.
The library — which in 1976 won national recognition for its design – is prominently featured in online storm videos shot from City Hall as Hurricane Katrina came ashore.
Best-selling author and Mississippi native John Grisham and CNN’s Anderson Cooper visited the library earlier today.
