A section of Popp’s Ferry Road will see intermittent lane closure beginning next week and work will soon begin on the Main Street railroad crossing, details in today’s A to Z report.
Beginning Monday, April 10, crews will begin installing fiber optic cable along Popp’s Ferry Road from North Country Club lane to Sunkist Country Club Road. During the work, intermittent lane closures will occur from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. each weekday through Tuesday, April 18.
And on Monday, April 17, work will begin on the railroad crossings at Main and Holley Streets. Main Street crossing work will include elevating the roadway on each side of the crossing. The crossing will be closed to traffic during the work. The Holley Street crossing will close permanently.
