MDOT working on I-110 southbound lane tonight
The Mississippi Department of Transportation has announced that southbound, right lane on the I-110 highrise will be closed to traffic Wednesday evening from 9:30 to 2 a.m. while workers make repairs to the grate on the bridge’s draw.
Keesler traffic advised to detour Wednesday morning
Motorists entering or leaving Keesler Air Force Base Wednesday should use either the Pass Road or Forest Avenue gates from 5 a.m. to noon, and avoid White Avenue and Irish Hill Drive, where Keesler and city first-responders will be conducting an annual training exercise to test response to a major accident.
The exercise, which will take place from 6 to 9 a.m., will require the closing of White Avenue, and Irish Hill Drive at Gill and St. Jude avenues.
