Today’s report: High numbers, Halloween on Howard and more

Harrison County continues to see an increasing number of coronavirus cases being reported daily, including some record numbers.

The Mississippi State Department Health reported a new record high number of daily cases on Thursday with 148 being identified.  Today, the department reports 79 new cases in Harrison County and 795 new cases statewide.

Also in today’s report, Halloween on Howard Avenue, the free, drive-thru trick or treating event, takes place on Saturday along Howard Avenue from Porter to Main Street, and Pickleballers Battle for the Pink in a charity tournament at the Popp’s Ferry Recreational Area also on Saturday.
