Visitors Center authors: Mark your calendars for Feb. 18, from 1 to 3 p.m. That’s when three authors will have a book signing and reading at the Biloxi Visitors Center. The authors and their works: Betty Oswald, “Friends Along the Bayou”; Philip L. Levin, “Inheritance,” “Sweet Tea and Afternoon Tales,” “Magnolia Blossoms and Afternoon Tea” and “Teacakes and Afternoon Tales”; and Marlin Miller, “Katrina sculptures.” Miller also plans to exhibit a handful of sculptures during the event. City Council: The Biloxi City Council next meets on Tuesday, Jan. 31. On tap for that day for will be a morning meeting – at 10:30 a.m. – to discuss re-drawing of ward lines for the 2013 municipal elections and an afternoon meeting at 1:30.
