The Community Development Department issued 62 permits with a total valuation of nearly $235,000 last week. Meantime, the Biloxi Police Department reported 2,124 calls for service, generating 118 arrests, and the Biloxi Fire Department reported an increase with 152 calls for service, including 100 for medical and five for structure and vehicle fires.
