The softball games scheduled for tonight at the A.J. Holloway Sports Complex have been canceled due to weather.
City of Biloxi has eight co-ed softball teams that play at 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. every other Wednesday night at the A.J. Holloway Sports Complex. Games will resume next week at the regular times, weather permitting.
In addition, the City of Biloxi hosts men’s teams every Tuesday night, also at 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. at the sports complex.
Adult softball remains one of Biloxi’s fastest-growing recreational programs at the sports complex. Since the facility renovation early last year, Biloxi Parks & Recreation has reintroduced Spring and Fall Adult Softball seasons, with participation increasing from eight men’s teams and four co-ed teams in the first spring season to 12 men’s teams and eight co-ed teams by the fall. The current spring season once again reached capacity with 12 men’s teams and eight co-ed teams.
Today, Biloxi hosts the largest adult softball league on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. For more information, contact Biloxi Parks & Recreation at 228-388-7170.
