Tonight the Biloxi Shuckers play game two of a five game homestand against the Birmingham Barons. This is the last regular season homestand. It is also Fireworks Friday.
Here are the promotions for the remaining games of the homestand.
Tonight: Fireworks Friday, presented by Alpha Media, with a fireworks extravaganza after the game . During the game, Whataburger will be set up on the concourse throughout the game. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. for a 6:35 p.m. first pitch.
Saturday: Shucktoberfest Stein Giveaway, where the first 1,000 fans through the gates of MGM Park receive a Shuckers Stein. Fans age 21 and older can enjoy the ballpark’s draft beer selection for just $5 per beer and participate in the in-game Shucktoberfest Scramble to win prizes. Young Shuckers fans are invited to arrive early and participate in the New Orleans Saints Experience from 4 to 6 p.m. Saints’ mascot, Gumbo the Dog, will be at the ballpark throughout the game for a special meet and greet, and Arabella’s Fate will be onsite for a special pregame concert. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. for a 6:35 p.m. first pitch.
Sunday: Fan Appreciation Day on Military Salute Sunday, presented by Keesler Federal Credit Union, with special giveaways, player autographs, $5 all draft beer, postgame catch on the field and more. Shuckers’ players will be dressed out in special military-themed jerseys and all active military personnel and veterans can purchase $8 Reserved Level tickets or $10 Dugout Box Level Tickets by presenting a valid military I.D.Family 4-packs are available every Sunday, which include four Reserved Level tickets paired with four hot dogs, four chips and four drinks, all for $60. Gates open at 3 p.m. for a 4:05 p.m. first pitch.
Monday, Labor Day Lunch Buffett & Doggone Monday, presented by Raising Cane’s, with Labor Day Lunch Buffet for $41 per person at the Bud Light Upper Deck. This includes access to the Mercedes-Benz Club for a complimentary buffet featuring hot dogs, chicken caesar salad, cheese tortellini, penne pasta with Italian sausage, grilled chicken with peppers, blackened Delta catfish, grilled veggies, chocolate covered strawberries and more. Tickets also include a Shuckers hat courtesy of Polk’s Meat Products. Monday is also the day to bring your pooch to the ballpark with the purchase of a $7 Berm ticket. Gates open at noon, with a pregame pup parade on the field. Schooner’s Special will be available at the concessions, which is a hot dog, chips and drink for only $5. Shuckers fans can also enjoy $5 draft beer on all selections at the stadium while supplies last. First pitch is 1:05 p.m.
Beginning Sept. 5, the Biloxi Shuckers will host the Southern League Playoff Games at MGM Park.

City Council: The Biloxi City Council will meet this afternoon at 3:30 p.m. for a special called meeting. The meeting will be held at Biloxi City Hall to discuss the upcoming municipal budget. T2T Run registration: Registration for the annual Tunnel to Towers 5K Run and Climb continues until race day, Saturday, Sept. 8. The event, honoring the sacrifices of first responders and military heroes, begins at 6 p.m. in Ocean Springs, with the finish line, stair climb and after party at Margaritaville Resort in Biloxi.
