‘Roadshow,’ Grayson re-visit Biloxi for segments

The wildly popular PBS program “Antiques Roadshow” airs the second of three Mississippi Coast shows this evening at 7 on Mississippi Public Broadcasting and on PBS stations across the country.

Tonight’s program, gleaned from the “Roadshow” taping at the Coast Coliseum in Biloxi months ago, will include a 1943 National League autographed baseball; a sword used in the Revolutionary War; and an 1811 silk-on-silk embroidery that’s valued as much as $50,000. Also: vintage space toys.

Some Light(house) viewing: Veteran Mississippi broadcaster Walt Grayson focused his “Look Around Mississippi” camera on the Biloxi Lighthouse in a news story that aired last week on Jackson and Biloxi TV stations.
