Police, Fire seeking donations for Perry relief trip

The Biloxi Police and Fire departments are collecting donations for victims of Hurricane Helene in Perry, Florida.

Donations of non-perishable food, bottled water, diapers, baby formula and food, pet food, and cleaning supplies are now being accepted at the Lopez-Quave Public Safety Center on Porter Avenue and all ten fire stations throughout the city. The donation locations are open 24 hours a day and items will be collected through Friday, Oct. 11.

A  group of police officers and firefighters from Biloxi plan to travel to Perry, Florida the week of Oct. 14, weather permitting, to deliver the supplies and cook for area first responders.
