A committee of the Biloxi Planning Commission will hold a workshop next week to discuss the possibility of re-zoning to commercial beachfront land north of U.S. 90 between Porter Avenue and Hopkins Boulevard, and possible revisions to the city’s tree-protection ordinance.
The Zoning Text and Map Committee will meet Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Community Development Department, which is at 676 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
Although the workshop is open to the public, citizens wishing to speak will be allowed only to answer any questions from committee members.
